名刺を持っている場合（When You Have a Business Card）
「訪問した側」が先に名刺を渡します。
The visitor should offer their business card first.
もらった名刺は必ず名刺入れにしまいましょう！
Be sure to always store the business cards you receive in your business card holder.

本日はお忙しいところお時間をいただきましてありがとうございます。
ABC株式会社のミラーと申します。
宜しくお願いいたします。
Miller: Nice to meet you. Thank you very much for taking the time to meet with me today. I’m Andrew Miller from ABC Corporation.
名刺を渡します（Andrew hands over his business card）

Mr. Kimura(Client): Thank you.
名刺を受け取ります（Mr. Kimura accepts the card）

XYZ株式会社の木村と申します。

Mr. Kimura(Client): Nice to meet you. I’m Kimura from XYZ Corporation. I look forward to working with you.

Miller: Thank you.

失礼ですが、下のお名前は何とお読みすればよろしいでしょうか。
Miller: Excuse me, how do you pronounce your name?
「十海人」と書いて「じゅうと」と読みます。
Mr. Kimura(Client): It’s written with the kanji for “ten,” “sea,” and “person,” and it’s pronounced “Juto.”
「じゅうと」ですか。珍しいお名前ですね。
Miller: Ah, I see. Juto. That’s an interesting name.
はい、よく言われます。
名刺の裏が英語表記になっております。
Mr. Kimura(Client): Yes, I hear that a lot. There’s also an English version printed on the back of the card.
あ、本当ですね。

Miller: Ah, I’m sorry, I didn’t notice that.

申し訳ございません。
只今あいにく名刺を切らせておりまして・・・。
次回、必ずお持ちいたします。
Miller: Nice to meet you. I’m Miller from ABC Corporation. I’m sorry, I don’t have any business cards at the moment. I’ll make sure to bring some next time.

宜しくお願いいたします。
Ms. Yamamoto(Client): No problem at all. I’m Yamamoto from EFG Corporation. It’s a pleasure to meet you.

受け取った名刺は必ず名刺入れにしまいましょう！直接ポケット等に入れてはいけません！
Always put received business cards in a business card holder. Don’t put them directly in your pocket or elsewhere!
