Sentence Pattern: Noun (Means/Tool) + でde

Grammar Explanation: The particle “でde” is used to express the means or tool used.

Ex.: ボールペンで名な前まえを書かきます。   

Rm.: Borupen de namae o kakimasu.

En.: I write my name with a ballpoint pen.

Ex.: はさみで紙かみを切きります。

Rm.: Hasami de kami o kirimasu.

En.: I cut paper with scissors.

Ex.: ホッチキスで紙かみを留とめます。

Rm.: Hotchikisu de kami o tomemasu.

En.: I staple papers with a stapler.

Ex.: 包ほう丁ちょうでトマトを切きります。

Rm.: Hocho de tomato o kirimasu.

En.: I cut tomatoes with a kitchen knife.

Ex.: お箸はしで拉らー麺めんを食たべます。

Rm.: Ohashi de ramen o tabemasu.

En.: I eat ramen with chopsticks.

Ex.: フォークとナイフでステーキを食たべます。

Ex.: 現げん金きんで支し払はらいます。

En.: I search for it on Google.

Ex.: SNSで情じょう報ほうを発はっ信しんします。

En.: I share information on social media.

Ex.: スマホで写しゃ真しんを撮とります。

Rm.: Sumaho de shashin o torimasu.

En.: I take pictures with my smartphone.

En.: I turn off the TV with the remote control.

Ex.: ドライヤーで髪かみを乾かわかします。

Rm.: Doraiya de kami o kawakashimasu.

En.: I dry my hair with a hair dryer.

Rm.: Kusakariki de kusa o karimasu.

En.: I cut grass with a lawn mower.

Ex.: 金かな槌づちで釘くぎを打うちます。

Rm.: Kanazuchi de kugi o uchimasu.

En.: I hammer nails with a hammer.

Ex.: 英えい語ごで会かい話わをします。

Rm.: Eigo de kaiwa o shimasu.

En.: I have a conversation in English.
