Nakamura (Neighbor): Good morning! The cherry blossoms are in full bloom, aren’t they?

ほんとですね！

Satoshi Yamato: They really are!

中村（隣人）

今こ年としは開かい花かが早はやかったそうですよ。

Nakamura (Neighbor): I heard they bloomed earlier than usual this year.

大和聡

あ、そうなんですか？
そう言いわれてみると、年ねん々ねん開かい花かが早はやくなってるような気きがしますね。

Satoshi Yamato: Oh, really? Now that you mention it, it does seem like they’re blooming earlier every year.

中村（隣人）

やはり、地ち球きゅう温おん暖だん化かのせいでしょうか。

Nakamura (Neighbor): Do you think it’s because of global warming?

大和聡

そうかもしれないですね。

Satoshi Yamato: Yeah, that could be it.

Satoshi Yamato: Do you have a cold?

いえいえ、花か粉ふん症しょうなんですよ。
今きょ日うは杉すぎの花か粉ふんがたくさん飛とんでるようで・・・。

Nakamura (Neighbor): No, no, it’s hay fever. Seems like there’s a lot of cedar pollen in the air today…

あ、そういえば、今け朝さ、ニュースでいってましたね。
この季き節せつ、花か粉ふん症しょうだと辛つらいですよね。

Satoshi Yamato: Oh, I heard that on the news this morning. Must be tough having allergies this time of year.

中村（隣人）

そうなんですよ。
マスクしてジョギングするわけにもいかないので。

Nakamura (Neighbor): Definitely. But I can’t really wear a mask when I’m jogging.

ほんとですよね。
病びょう院いんには行いってないんですか？

Satoshi Yamato: That’s true. Haven’t you been to the doctor?

中村（隣人）

ええ、行いってないんですよ。

Nakamura (Neighbor): No, I haven’t.

うちの妻つまも花か粉ふん症しょうなんですが、病びょう院いんで注ちゅう射しゃを打うってもらったら、楽らくになったって言いってましたよ。

Satoshi Yamato: My wife has hay fever too, but she said getting allergy shots at the clinic really helped her.

中村（隣人）

え、本ほん当とうですか？
どこの病びょう院いんですか？

Nakamura (Neighbor): Really? Which clinic?

町まち中なか総そう合ごう病びょう院いんです。

Satoshi Yamato: The Machinaka General Clinic.

中村（隣人）

あ、あそこはアレルギー科かがありましたね。

Nakamura (Neighbor): Oh yeah, they have an allergy department there.

Satoshi Yamato: Yep.

じゃ、僕ぼくもちょっと診みてもらおうかな。

Nakamura (Neighbor): Maybe I should get checked out there too.

大和聡

一いち度ど行いってみてください。

Satoshi Yamato: You definitely should. It’s worth a visit.

Nakamura (Neighbor): Hey, look! There’s a crowd over there!

あ！ほんとですね。

Satoshi Yamato: Oh! There really is!

中村（隣人）

救きゅう急きゅう車しゃも来きてますね。
交こう通つう事じ故こがあったようですね。

Nakamura (Neighbor): And there’s an ambulance too. Looks like there was an accident.

大和聡

え！怖こわい！
大だい丈じょう夫ぶなのかな？

Satoshi Yamato: Oh no, that’s scary! Is everything going to be okay?

中村（隣人）

車くるまとバイクの接せっ触しょく事じ故こみたいですね。

Nakamura (Neighbor): Oh yeah, they have an allergy department there.

あそこで警けい察さつ官かんと話はなしてるのはバイクの運うん転てん手しゅかな？

Satoshi Yamato: Is that the motorcyclist talking to the police officer over there?

中村（隣人）

あ！そうみたいですね。
怪け我ががなくてよかった！

Nakamura (Neighbor): Yeah, looks like it. Glad no one got hurt!

バイクの運うん転てんは気きをつけないとね。
車くるまと違ちがって、倒たおれたら大おお怪け我がしますから！

Satoshi Yamato: Be careful when riding a motorcycle. Unlike cars, falling off a bike can cause way more serious injuries.

中村（隣人）

ほんとに！

Nakamura (Neighbor): Absolutely!

幸さいわい、僕ぼくはバイクの免めん許きょは持もってないので大だい丈じょう夫ぶです。

Satoshi Yamato: Luckily, I don’t have a motorcycle license, so I’m safe.

中村（隣人）

スクーターも乗のらないんですか。

Nakamura (Neighbor): You don’t even ride a scooter?

ええ、車くるましか運うん転てんしません。

Satoshi Yamato: Nope, I only drive cars.

中村（隣人）

ま、私わたしもそうなんですけどね。

Nakamura (Neighbor): Same here, actually.
