今いまの時じ代だい、携けい帯たいは必ひつ需じゅ品ひんだもんね！
忘わすれたら大たい変へん！

Satoshi (Husband): Seriously! Glad I remembered in time.

何なにかあったんですか？

Satoshi: Ugh, the train’s delayed again! Excuse me, is something going on?

駅員

ええ、踏ふみ切きりで車くるまと電でん車しゃが接せっ触しょくしたみたいなんです。

Station Staff: Yes, it seems a car and a train had a minor collision at a crossing.

どのくらいで復ふっ旧きゅうしますか。

Satoshi: Any idea when service will be back to normal?

駅員

そうですね。
1いち時じ間かんぐらいかかるんじゃないかと・・・。

Station Staff: It’ll probably take about an hour.

Satoshi: An hour?! Well, nothing I can do. I guess I’ll try getting a taxi.

Satoshi (Boss): Hi, this is Yamato.

あ、大やま和と部ぶ長ちょうですか？

今きょ日う電でん車しゃが遅おくれててね。
今いまタクシーに乗のろうと思おもってタクシー乗のり場ばに来きたんだけど人ひとがいっぱいで・・・。
10時じの会かい議ぎに間まに合あいそうにないんだよ。

Satoshi (Boss): The train’s delayed this morning. I came to the taxi stand to grab a cab, but there’s a huge line… Looks like I won’t make it to the 10 o’clock meeting.

山田（部下）

え？そうなんですか。
じゃ、今いまから会かい社しゃの車くるまで迎むかえに行いきましょうか。
今いま8時じ半はんなので、9く時じ前まえにはそちらの駅えきに着つくと思おもいます。

Yamada (Direct report): Oh, really? Then, would you like me to send the company car to pick you up? It’s 8:30 now, so we should be able to get to your station by around 9.

大和聡（部長）

ほんとに？
申もうし訳わけないね。
じゃ、そうしてくれる？

Satoshi (Boss): Seriously? I really appreciate it. That would be great!

山田（部下）

ええ、いいですよ。
駅えき東ひがし口ぐちのファミリーマートの前まえで待まっていてください。

Yamada (Direct report): No problem at all. Please wait in front of the FamilyMart at the East Exit of the station.

大和聡（部長）
