How to Turn I-Adjectives into Nouns

Ex.: このはこおおきさがわかりますか。

Rm.: Kono hako no ookisa ga wakarimasu ka.
En.: Can you tell how big this box is?

あか (Bright) あか (Brightness)

Ex.: パソコンめんあかるさを調ちょうせいしています。

Rm.: Pasokon gamen no akarusa o chousei shiteimasu.
En.: I’m adjusting my screen brightness.

Ex.: ぶん鹿さにあきれました。
