Grammar Explanation: Doing B While Doing A

Ex.: かのじょえいながら、らーめんべています。

Rm.: Kanojo wa eiga o minagara, ramen o tabete imasu.

En.: She is eating ramen while watching a movie.

Ex.: かれはたらきながら、ほんべんきょうしています。

Rm.: Kare wa hatarakinagara, nihongo o benkyo shite imasu.

En.: He is studying Japanese while working.

Ex.: かれはハーモニカをきながらギターをいています。

Rm.: Kare wa harmonika o fukinagara, gita o hiite imasu.

En.: He is playing the guitar while playing the harmonica.

Ex.: かれおんがくきながらべんきょうしています。

Rm.: Kare wa ongaku o kikinagara, benkyo shite imasu.

En.: He is studying while listening to music.

Ex.: バイクにりながらスマホをるのはけんです。

Rm.: Baiku ni norinagara, sumaho o miru no wa kiken desu.

En.: It is dangerous to look at your smartphone while riding a motorcycle.

Ex.: 煙草たばこいながらきゅうけいしています。

Rm.: Tabako o sukinagara, kyukei shite imasu.

En.: He is taking a break while smoking a cigarette.
