チェックインカウンターに行きます（They walk up to the counter）
パスポートを見せてください。
Ground Staff: May I see your passports, please?
はい。
Michael (Dad): Sure.
全部で4名様ですね。
Ground Staff: You’re traveling as a group of four, right?
はい。
Michael (Dad): Yes, that’s right.
本日午後1時35分発の台北行きでお間違えないですか。
Ground Staff :You’re on the 1:35 PM flight to Los Angeles today, right?
はい、大丈夫です。
Michael (Dad): Yes, that’s correct.
荷物を預けます（Checking in luggage）
お預けになるお荷物はこちらで全部ですか？
Ground Staff: Is this all the luggage you’ll be checking in?
はい。
Michael (Dad): Yes.
バッテリーなど、こちらのリストにあるものは入っていないですか？
Ground Staff: Any batteries or restricted items in your bags, as listed here?
はい、ないです。
Michael (Dad): No, nothing like that.
かしこまりました。
ではお席ですが、只今お取りできるお席はこちらになっております。
Ground Staff: Great. Now, about your seats, these are the options currently available.
座席表を見ます（They look at the seat map）
私は窓側の席がいいな！
Ema (Daughter): I’d like a window seat!
僕は通路側がいいや！
Ryan (Son): I’d rather have an aisle seat!
真ん中の席なら4人いっしょに座れるよ。
Michael (Dad): If we take the middle section, all four of us can sit together.
でも、私は窓側がいいな。
Ema (Daughter): But I really want a window seat.
じゃ、2席ずつ前後に座ろう！
Michael (Dad): Then let’s sit two in front and two behind!
席を選択します（Choosing seats）
じゃ、A17とB17、A18とB18でお願いします。
Michael (Dad): We’ll take A17 and C17, and A18 and C18, please.

ではこちらのお席をお取りいたします。
Ground Staff: Certainly. I’ll reserve those seats for you.
手続きします（Finishing up check-in）
こちがら航空券になります。
12時50分までに搭乗ゲートへお越しください。
Ground Staff: Here are your boarding passes. Please make your way to the gate by 12:50 PM.

Michael (Dad): Okay, got it.
スーツケースがなくなると楽ね。
Emily (Mom): It feels great not having to lug those suitcases around anymore.
ほんとだね。
Michael (Dad): Yeah, it really does.
パパ！
あそこのカフェで休憩しようよ！
Ryan (Son): Dad! Let’s take a break at that café over there!
だめよ！
もう時間がないんだから！
Emily (Mom): No, we don’t have time for that!
そうだね。
先に保安検査へ行こう！
もしかしたらいっぱい並んでるかもしれないからね。
Michael (Dad): She’s right. Let’s head to security first, it might get crowded.
そうよ！そうしましょう！
Emily (Mom): Exactly! Let’s go now!
出国検査が終わってからゆっくりお茶しようね！
Michael (Dad): Once we’re through immigration, we can relax and grab a drink!
うん、わかった！
Ryan (Son): Okay, sounds good!
