レーンがたくさんあり過ぎて、どのレーンがわからないね。
Michael (Dad): Whoa, there are so many baggage carousels. I have no idea which one is ours.
あそこのスタッフの人に聞いてみたら？
Emma (Daughter): Why don’t you ask that staff member over there?
そうだね。
聞いてみよう！
Michael (Dad): Good idea. I’ll go ask.
グランドスタッフに尋ねます（Asking the airport ground staff）
すみません、どのレーンかわからないんですが。
Michael (Dad): Excuse me, I’m not sure which carousel our luggage will be on.
飛行機の便名は何番ですか。
Ground Staff: Could you tell me your flight number?
CI220便です。
Michael (Dad): It’s JAL15.
CI220便ですね。
CI220便は一番右の1番レーンです。
Ground Staff: JAL15? That would be carousel number 1, all the way to the right.
一番右のレーンですね。
Michael (Dad): All the way to the right?
はい。
あちらにカートがございますのでご利用くださいませ。
Ground Staff: Yes, and there are carts over there if you need one.
わかりました。
どうもありがとうございます。
Michael (Dad): Great, thank you very much.
カートは僕が取ってくるよ！
Ryan (Son): I’ll go grab a cart!
お！じゃ、頼むよ！
Michael (Dad): Oh, thanks, buddy!
ラジャー！
Ryan (Son): Okay!
荷物が出てくるのを待ちます（Waiting for the luggage）
なかなか出てこないねぇ・・・。
Ryan (Son): It’s taking forever…
まだ来て5分も経ってないじゃない。
Emily (Mom): We’ve only been here for like five minutes.
ははは、ライアンはせっかちだからなぁ。
Michael (Dad): Haha, Ryan’s always impatient.
あっ！
あれ、私のスーツケースだ！
Emma (Daughter): Oh! That’s my suitcase!
あ！ほんとね！
自分で取れる？
Emily (Mom): Oh yeah, you’re right! Can you grab it?
うん、大丈夫！
Emma (Daughter): Yeah, I can do it!
荷物を取ります（Emma grabs her suitcase）
あっ！
あの赤いのママのスーツケースじゃない？
Ryan (Son): Hey! Isn’t that red one Mom’s suitcase?
ん？
似てるけど違うかな？
私のはもうちょっと小さいから。
Emily (Mom): Hmm? Looks similar, but mine’s a little smaller.
ほんとだ！
よく見ると違った！
Ryan (Son): Oh yeah, you’re right. It’s different up close.
あっ！出てきた！出てきた！
あの赤いのが私のだわ！
Emily (Mom): Ah! There it is! That red one’s definitely mine!
荷物を取ります（Emily grabs her suitcase）
あっ！
キャスターが１つなくなってる！
Emily (Mom): Oh no… one of the wheels is missing!
おっ！ほんとだね！
Michael (Dad): Whoa, you’re right!
最悪！
航空会社が弁償してくれるのかしら？！
Emily (Mom): Ugh, come on! Do you think the airline will pay for this?
うーん・・・スーツケースのキャスターは難しいかもね。
Michael (Dad): Hmm… wheels can be tricky. They might not cover it.
えーっ！
このスーツケース高かったのにー！
Emily (Mom): Ugh! This suitcase was expensive!
僕のクレジットカードに「携行品損害保険」が付いてるからそれでなんとかなるはずだよ。
Michael (Dad): My credit card has baggage damage insurance, so we should be okay.
ほんと？
よかったー！
Emily (Mom): Really? That’s a relief!
でも、「破損証明書」をもらわないといけないからなぁ。
あ、あそこのスタッフに言ってくるよ。
Michael (Dad): But we’ll need a damage report. Ah, I’ll go talk to that staff member over there.
グランドスタッフにスーツケースの破損を伝えます（Reporting the damage to Ground Staff）
すみません、スーツケースのキャスターが１つ無くなってるので「破損証明書」がほしいんですが。
Michael (Dad): Excuse me, One of the wheels on my suitcase is missing. I’d like to request a damage report.
かしこまりました。
担当者を呼んで参りますので少々お待ちください。
Ground Staff: Of course. I’ll call the person in charge. Please wait just a moment.
はい、お願いします。
Michael (Dad): Thank you.
担当者が来ます（The supervisor arrives）
お待たせしました。
スーツケースのキャスターがなくなっているということですが。
Ground Staff: Thank you for waiting. I understand one of the wheels is missing?
ええ、そうなんです。
Michael (Dad): Yes, that’s right.
担当者がキャスターの欠損を確認します（Supervisor inspects the suitcase）
大変申し訳ございません。
保険会社に請求されますか。
Ground Staff: We’re very sorry. Will you be filing a claim with your insurance company?
はい、そうしようと思っています。
Michael (Dad): Yes, that’s the plan.
では、破損個所の写真が必要ですので、写真を撮っておいていただけますか。
Ground Staff: Then we’ll need a photo of the damage. Could you please take a picture?
あ、そうなんですね。
わかりました。
Michael (Dad): Oh, sure. No problem.
「破損証明書」はこちらで用意いたします。
Ground Staff: We’ll prepare the damage report for you.

Michael (Dad): I appreciate it.
